I thought I was being a bit self indulgent when I bought my 80Gb ipod, but instead of listening to music I've been listening, sometimes watching, and learning. Every morning before I get up, while I'm travelling, when I need to unwind, when I'm waiting at the physio... no more wasted moments for me.

Podcasts through itunes are generally free so I'm up to date on;

• the ABC's Gruen Transfer, a great new show on the ABC, which is going to form the foundation for an up and coming year 8 advertising unit (with some tweeking). Along with a whole heap of other stuff from Catalyst, the science show, to Compass.
• the latest in education... there are too many to list and I haven't yet decided which ones are the beset. Watch this space
• stuff that's useful for school including classic novels, good solid poetry, a bit of history and info about our planet
  
• Cool stories about people called 'Street Stories'
  
• a whole heap of down-loadable teaching messages - I'm listening to a lot of sovereign grace ministries stuff with affiliates listed here, Joyce Meyer (you can't beat her for practical application) and more, of whom I might talk about later
• and, a bit of good ol' Aussie comedy radio like Hamish and Andy (thanks to Matt who suggested some light entertainment). While I'm personally ok with sifting out the inappropriate, any suggestions for places to go for squeaky clean humour, give me a hoy!
