I've been staying with Kristy this week... 'baby-sitting', as she calls it. Honestly though, being with Kristy is a pleasure. Slowly but surely this brave girl is taking little steps toward a life without her much loved husband.
It's beautiful out here. I can see why Kristy is at home. We wake up 360 degrees of mist covered green paddocks of cattle and lambing sheep, the fruit trees are fully laden, the deciduous trees are dropping their leaves, the hay bails are stacked high along the side of the property, and sunrise and sunset are there in all their glory from the kitchen window and on the 20 minute drive back from school at the end of the day.
Keep your eyes peeled (or google reader regularly checked, as the case may be) .... when I get back home I'll post the experiemental photos I've been taking around here on Dad's digital SLR.
Peaceful heart inducing for sure! So. Kristy's in the right place. May she know this sustaining quiet within more everyday.
