As promised, here are the photos taken while staying 'out bush' last week...
It's a beautiful time of year in the Mount. Even before I left, this tree in Kristy's 'front yard' had almost dropped all its leaves
You might see close behind a hint of the hay stack that nestles beneath the pine trees... this particular nook is a favourite place for the lady of the house.
The 'back yard' is full of fruit trees, with a home made spot to rest a while. There will be another installment concerning fruit in coming days...

This is the view from the kitchen window in the evening!
Behind the yard and the old chook shed are the mandatory piles of scrap metal, antiquated farming machinery and the wooden window frames left over from the latest renovations - they made a nice arty shot I thought!
More practice with Dad's SLR will improve this shot, but I love the 'idea' of it anyway. I'd call it "I can still see you".
I got some action shots of this fella playing in the trough, but I won't bore you with the whole series
Driving back and forth from town to the farm for school each day, I soon spied a few spots for good shots along the road....

For those who are interested in such things, these photo's were taken with a Pentax K100D SLR & 18-200mm Sigma lens. I don't claim to be an expert and had to fiddle around a bit to get shots that I thought were half decent, but I'm hoping to learn a bit more soon enough. Maybe I'll be back to the same subjects for another go when I've learned the art of photography

Wow, they are beautiful! I really liked watching them!
Great photo's Jo! I particularly like the Apples, Car & window shots. There's something very clever in an abstract type photo when it works! Keep up the good work!!!
These are so great! At first glance, my favorite photos are the ladder, the window frames against the wall (those would make great frames for photographs too...) the car, and the one of the stree lined by trees. Another of the landscapes is good too; they look like paintings. So fun! I like the way you framed the car; makes it more interesting. Contrasty can be difficult to work with; though I often times find myself adding contrast to mine. Good work:) Look forward to seeing more!
what beautiful countryside!! glad you posted these.:)
the photos are great! you're a budding photographer Jo!
