A little cheer was required this morning....

On a more straight faced, but no less 'disracting', note... I think I've hinted at the big planting session planned for Easter. Right now things are moving along nicely. The soil is prepared, the 'parent planting crew' booked, the plants ordered and the gardens designed.
There really are a lot of great programs on-line to get projects like this happening. While it's nowhere near top of the range compared with the 3D variety available, I found a simple Garden Planner to get me on my way. The free 2 week trial finishes today and even though I have no plans to plant another garden in the near future it's tempting to buy it. Can't see it breaking the bank at just $20... still thinking!
For now a screen capture will do. I'll have to be on my toes regarding copyright but it gives me the opportunity to give you guys an idea of what I'm heading for. (Don't even get me started on the many and varied uses of this little gem of a program. It's not all that expensive, but for the skeptical you can always have a trial or opt for the 'lite' version that's totally free).
This is the smaller front garden. The larger area won't even fit on the screen. Just so the gardeners out there can get an idea, the big white flowered bush will be a Mock Orange at this stage, the black spots - standard lilly pillys, the green blobs - conifers, and the rest 'grasses' of various varieties. It will all fall into place as time progresses.
A bit of fun, huh?... you can find the Magicmirror program here.

Blessings,

won't be able to help myself... problem is it'll take years for us to find out if it's actually going to be a beautiful garden. If only I could project 5 years on.
