FYI. I'm in Robe on camp with the year 8's for the rest of the week. Fun fun fun... 13 year old girls and their disagreements, the boys and their energy, and the lot of them bouncing around til all hours of the night!!
It's a good thing it's all balanced out with a good bit of bonding and some tough but casual camp wise male teacher influence. Apparently the trick is to put the girls in their place early on and wear everyone out with running up sand dunes during the day and 'storm the lantern' by night! Eeeek. Hope teachers are exempt! :s

well, it's a game that's played at night. These days a torch is used rather than a lantern of course.... but the aim is for one team to capture the lantern while the others try to stop them. Supposed to be heaps of fun but if I've ever played it, it has to have been more than 25 years ago!!
Hi Jo,
Great to have you dropping by my blog :) Have enjoyed looking at yours. Hope you survived camp.....
